A blank slate...

Started with a sunset base before drawing in the buildings of the skyline.

I drew in the buildings of the skyline and prepared the edges.

Next, I blocked in some of the darkest areas of the buildings.

I painted in the light of the sun setting reflecting off of the buildings.

After completing all the blocks of light and shadow, I proceeded to add in the details of the windows and other fragments of light. This step took the longest!
